The Scriptures Inspired

The Holy Bible is the inspired, infallible, authoritative rule of faith and conduct (1 Thessalonians 2:13; 2 Timothy 3:15–17; 2 Peter 1:21).

The One True God

Eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Deuteronomy 6:4; Isaiah 43:10–11; Matthew 28:19; Luke 3:22).

The Deity of the Lord Jesus Christ

Virgin-born, eternal Son of God who lived a sinless life and was crucified to take upon Himself the punishment for the sin of all mankind. He rose bodily from the dead, thereby conquering sin, death, and the grave. He will personally return to the earth in power and glory (Matthew 1:23; 1 Corinthians 15:3–4; Hebrews 7:26; Revelation 1:8).

The Fall of Man

Created in the image of God, but by voluntary transgression fallen, and therefore lost and powerless to save himself (Genesis 1:26–27, 2:17, 3:6; Romans 5:12–19).

The Salvation of Man

Believe in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior (John 14:6; Acts 4:12; 1 John 1:9).

The Ordinances of the Church

Baptism in water and Holy Communion are among the ways we celebrate our hope in Jesus Christ (Matthew 28:19; Acts10:47–48; Romans 6:4; 1Corinthians 11:26; 2 Peter 1:4).

The Holy Spirit

Indwells the believer and empowers him to live a righteous and holy life. The Baptism of the Holy Spirit, with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues, and the Gifts of the Spirit are available to believers today (Luke 24:49; John 7:37–39; Acts 1:4–5, 8, 2:1–4, 2:36–42, 8:12–17, 10:44–46, 11:14–16, 15:7–9; 1 Corinthians 12:4–10, 28).

Realized in the believer by recognizing his identification with Christ in His death and resurrection, and by faith reckoning daily upon the fact of that union, and by offering every faculty continually to the dominion of the Holy Spirit (Romans 6:1–11, 13, 8:1–2, 13; Galatians 2:20; Philippians 2:12–13).

The Church and Its Mission

The Body of Christ, of which Jesus Christ is head, is the habitation of God through the Spirit with divine appointments for the fulfillment of her Great Commission. Believers are called to pursue God’s mission, both collectively and individually (Matthew 28:19–20; Mark 16:15; 1 Corinthians 12:12–27; Ephesians 1:22–23, 2:22; Hebrews 12:23).

Divine Healing

An integral part of the gospel and Jesus’ earthly ministry, deliverance from sickness is provided for in the Atonement and is a privilege of all believers (Isaiah 53:4–5; Matthew 8:16–17; James 5:14–16).

The Blessed Hope

The resurrection of those who have fallen asleep in Christ and their translation together with those who are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord is the imminent and blessed hope of the Church (Romans 8:23; 1 Corinthians 15:51–52; 1 Thessalonians 4:16–17; Titus 2:13)

The Millennial Reign of Christ

Following the blessed hope, the visible second coming of Christ with His saints to reign on the earth for one thousand years (Zechariah 14:5; Matthew 24:27, 30; Revelation 1:7, 19:11–14, 20:1–6).

The Final Judgement

There will be a final judgement in which the wicked dead will be raised and judged according to their works. Whosoever is not found written in the lambs Book of Life, together with the devil and his angels, the beast and the false prophet, will be consigned to everlasting punishment in the lake of fire and brimstone, which is the second death (Matthew 25:46; Mark 9:43–48; Revelation 19:20, 20:11–15, 21:8).

The New Heavens and the New Earth:

We, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness (2 Peter 3:13; Revelation 21:1– 2:21).
